Here are three stages of page 22. Pencils, inks and finally colour and copy. The drawing and inks are done traditionally on paper, scanned and then coloured using Photoshop. Copy and word balloons are then added in InDesign.

I've been very busy of late with commercial projects, so this story is taking a long time but here is page eight. Will be illustrating a children's book soon which means I probably won't be pumping out the pages for this story any faster. I'm not complaining, just not getting any momentum going.

This never happened to me before. I wrote The Lost Island of Dreams as a 24 pg story but condensed it to 16 pager as a backup. Getting into it however I restored it to 24 pages but I was having so much fun I've now expanded it to 28. Thankfully I self-publish and have no editor. Here's page 20.

On this page the sailors turn down a plea by the Wizard to what sounds like a suicide mission. The hero of our story though, says he will do it, prompting the rest to wonder if he is up to something and so change their minds. The Wizard is happy.
